Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and RankFirst for your use of the service. We've kept them short and readable. By creating an account or using RankFirst, you agree to them.

The service

RankFirst is a blog-on-autopilot service. We analyze the website you connect, learn your voice and your keywords, plan a calendar of topics, and then write, illustrate, and publish SEO- and GEO-optimized articles to your blog on a recurring schedule. Content is delivered to your own domain through our read-only API and SDK, or you can use the hosted blog.

We improve the product continuously and may add, change, or remove features. If we materially remove something you rely on, we'll give reasonable notice first.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you sign up on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorized to bind it.

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Keep your contact and billing details current so we can reach you and bill you correctly. Don't share one login across a team beyond what your plan allows.

Your content and what you own

You own your website, your brand, your data, and the articles RankFirst produces for you. To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to read your connected website and to process your inputs (voice, keywords, settings) strictly to plan, generate, and publish your content.

You represent that you have the right to connect the website you connect and to publish the content we generate for you. You're responsible for the articles that go out under your brand, including reviewing, editing, unpublishing, or regenerating anything at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Connect a website or domain you don't own or aren't authorized to publish to.
• Use RankFirst to produce or publish content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or that spreads malware or spam.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service or its underlying models without a written agreement.
• Interfere with the integrity, security, or performance of the service, or bypass its rate limits and safeguards.

AI-generated content: what to expect

Your articles are written and illustrated by advanced AI models, guided by your brand voice and keywords. The output is high quality, but it is not perfect. It may occasionally contain factual errors, outdated information, or phrasing you'd write differently.

By design, RankFirst publishes on your behalf on the schedule you set, with no mandatory human review gate. That means you are responsible for the content published under your brand. You stay in control: you can edit any article, regenerate it, or unpublish and disable it in one click, and you can change your voice, keywords, and calendar for all future posts whenever you like.

Third-party services

RankFirst relies on trusted third parties to work, including AI providers that generate your content, cloud hosting and media storage, and a payment processor. You may also connect your own accounts (for example, to read your search-performance data or to publish to your site). When you connect an external account, you authorize us to access it as needed to provide the service, and your use of that service is also governed by its own terms. Their availability can affect ours.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

RankFirst starts with a $1 trial. During the trial you can cancel anytime, in one click, and you won't be charged the subscription price. The $1 trial fee is non-refundable. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan automatically converts to a paid subscription and renews on a recurring basis, monthly or annually depending on your plan, until you cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't retroactively refund the current term.

If you're a first-time subscriber, you can request a full refund of your first subscription payment within 7 calendar days of that charge by emailing contact@rankfirst.blog. Refunds are limited to one per customer and are returned to your original payment method. After those 7 days, and for all renewal charges, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. The $1 trial fee is non-refundable in all cases.

If we change pricing, the new price applies to your next term and we'll give at least 30 days' notice.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if a required third-party connection is revoked, if payment repeatedly fails, or if continuing would create legal or security risk. Where practical, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it.

You can close your account at any time. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymize your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to any records we're legally required to keep.

Intellectual property

We own the RankFirst platform: the software, dashboards, our integrations, and our name and logo. These terms don't grant you any rights in them beyond using the service. You own your content and the articles generated for you, as described above. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the product.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. SEO and GEO are long games that depend on many factors outside our control. We do not warrant any specific outcome. We can't guarantee that you'll rank on Google, receive traffic, or be cited by AI assistants, and we don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be free of mistakes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify RankFirst against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the service, the content you publish through it, or your violation of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your home country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material, we'll email the account owner at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use RankFirst after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
